Detour Coffee, Canada's best premium coffee

Detour Coffee is one of my favorite cafe in Canada. They opened four cafes right now, three in Hamilton, Ontario and One in Paris, Ontario. Even though I went so many cafes in Toronto, I still think Detour Coffee is Canada's Best coffee, period.

Detour Coffee what's so different about it

At Detour Coffee, sustainability is an important factor. They have made great relationships with coffee farmers, which helps to ensure the quality of the beans they use. It also helps the communities and economies around farms, which makes both roaster and farm win-win situation.

They have a wide range of single origin coffees. With their state-of-the-are equipment and techniques, they bring out the best batch of coffee each time. They control the roasting temperature and time carefully to ensure each batch is roasted to perfection, bringing out the full aroma of the beans. From these hard work, they have a wide range of single origin coffees, each with its own unique flavor profile. 

The consistency among all of their cafe is great, too. Usually when business is franchised, quality goes down the hill from lack of consistency. However, I must say all of thier barista are well-trained to make the same good coffee.

They are distributing their coffee beans all over Canada right now. That is how good their coffee beans are.

Detour Coffee Cafe Locations

• 41 King st W Dundas, Ontario - My personal favourite Detour coffee location. All staffs are super friendly, makes amazing latte. They also offers bread and sandwiches options which taste amazing too. Interior is so cute with wood and pastel green color.
• 175 John St. S Hamilton - I was very happy that they opened another cafe in this neighbor. To be honest the neighbor looks not so bright, and this cafe is like an Oasis in abandoned city. Customer service is superb, Coffee and some selection of pastries are great.
• 9300 Airport Rd, Ontario - They opened a little booth style cafe in Hamilton Airport. It is basically the only good food/coffee option in the Airport.
• 31 Mechanic St. Paris, Ontario - My favorite go-to place when I visit Paris, Ontario. Paris is tiny town in Ontario, just west of Hamilton. The cafe is located in the Paris famous 'Wincey Mills Co.' really cute booth style cafe. It is a great place to relex and enjoy coffe and sandwiches.
